There are speaker upgrade kits available, but since you already have an SE model, you should have the six speaker amplified system; you may consider simply purchasing a set of aftermarket speakers.
I'm pretty sure the emblems mount in grommets, with pins on the emblems; but if you do need to use an adhesive, weatherstrip adhesive works great for things like that.
As was mentioned, the Viggen model has a 2.3L engine with a better turbocharger. There are many performance modifications available for your vehicle. If you would like to increase the performance look at staged tunes available from site sponsors like Genuinesaab.com, jakstollperformance.com and others. You can get as much, or as little power out of your engine as you'd like. Stage 1 would require a simple software upgrade for around $350, and this would give you about 230hp. Other stages require further software upgrades and hardware upgrades like 3" exhaust components, open air intakes, bigger turbochargers, bigger injectors, and some internal engine modifications for BIG power. I personally have a stage 5 package with programming for ethanol; this provides around 375hp theoretically. If you do decide to install performance upgrades I would like to give you some advice. Do it right: investigate what is available, set a goal and stick to that goal. If you can't purchase a complete package, start with the small hardware. Don't mess with the turbo or fuel system until you are ready to purchase the proper software.
As for the direct ignition; as Bruce said, do take it back to that shop, and do not allow them to do anything else to your car until they fix their mistake. Like you've discovered, the black DI cassette is for the T7 system; while it will *work* on a T5 equipped vehicle, it can cause problems.
Trionic is Saab's engine management system. If you search "saab trionic" in your favorite search engine you can find some detailed information about the system.
