You can adjust the angle at which the window goes up by loosening the two nuts that hold the regulator mechanism in place. They are in a line that goes horizontally across the midsection of the door. The one that is in the center is a swivel point and the other is the adjuster. With the window almost all the way up, loosen both nuts, push the top of the window back into the rear track and then tighten both nuts. The rear nut should be near the top of the adjuster hole. Hope this helps. I just went through this with my 1999.
