Thank for a reply.
Pentosin CHF11S is over $20.00 a QT/lt for me to mail order. Was planning on using it. Because of the cost, do not want to buy more than necessary to do the work. (Also don't want to wait for the postman to bring me more if I buy too little, while the car sits). Using such costly fluid to flush the system is painful enough.
Noise from new using different fluid other than Pentosin? Not sure what you mean. Any noise from a steering pump (no matter what fluid used) spells trouble. Main concern is taking care of the seals in the rack with a compatible fluid.
Pentosin, being a euro fluid, probably does not have an MSDS sheet to find out exactly what it's makeup is. Dodge uses a synthetic fluid as well. Must be some kind of overpriced hydraulic/brake fluid is my guess.
Will look into the wazee pulley, but I would rather spend the money on a quality bearing and press it in, if this is a possibility.
