I have a 01' SEHot 5-door with 204k miles. I'm kinda glad i got the 01, than the 02, i didn't like the 55 tires as it made the Saab taller in the wheel base. However, the interior door panels are leather which the 01' didn't have.
Istill have the original turbo and throttle body and runs great. The main thing to watch for is sludge and hopefully synthetic oil has been used through out its life. I have had my oil pan dropped 2x's for sludge billedup--each time the sludge was very minimal. Major repairs with over 150K miles has been ABS Module, Power Steering hose, Fuel pump and Radiator. i have replaced all smaller engine modules, hoses, and vacuum lines--which just go bad with age.
And yes, rust by the rear wheel wells. There are no other places than even hints of rust about to show up. It truly has been much better over all than my previous Volvos.
