Thanks for the info, Nick! 93Gator clued me in that "Amp On" is looking for voltage. That made me search in that area. My head unit does not have 5V out "Amp On" pin, but I have seen suggestions to splice it with "Antena On" signal pin. I believe it's 12V. Tried it this morning and it worked!!!
I am curious about what you meant by "there is a slide to adapt the input gain". Did you mean for the "Amp On" signal? I did not see any such on my amp or photos if the unit I have seen on line.
Also, I found that though it "worked" the sound was not very loud. I only tested with "spoken word", radio and audio books, which I am most interested in. It was nearly drowned out by the front dash speakers. I guess because of the frequency range the speakers cover. I guess will need to play with the head unit's equalizer.
Thanks guys!!
