Radiator removal on 1996 Saab 900 SE Turbo Posted by netwkpro [Email] (#2586) [Profile/Gallery] (more from netwkpro) on Fri, 24 Jan 2020 13:58:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Please help. What is the best way to remove the radiator? I have a 1996 900se Turbo that needs the radiator removed, and replaced. I have read various threads with differing advice. Is the only way to remove the radiator is to remove the bumper? Can it be done by removing the upper radiator brace? I've read that the intercooler has to be removed first. Then you can detach the ACC unit from the radiator. I consider myself a good mechanic, and have done all the maintenance on my car. I don't understand what Saab was thinking with this design. Based on all the threads I've read, many people are frustrated with this issue. I greatly appreciate any help from someone who has dealt with this before. Cheers, Aaron.
