My wife’s car leasing is ending in October and as much as I would like her to get the new 93, she does not like Saab. Go figure…
Anyways, the point is that she likes the new Audi A4 and she cannot drive a manual transmission, so the new CVT A4 1.8T comes with a automatic standard and it costs 33,900 Can$ (it’s actually the base model, not Quattro ). My point is that we went to check it out and found out that there are no 2002 models left and we would have to order a 2003 without knowing the price, finance rate, nor ever trying the car. I do not know the car and I would like for us to try it before, but no chance.
The salesman was unbelievable jerk and treated us like shit. He started by saying that he really does not need our business since the car sells itself and there is a big waiting list. He also said that I should not even try to negotiate the price, nor the finance rate that he will give me. He does not have a car to try and he will not have one before October, but I have to sign the contract in order to try it. I was shocked. I have never seen anything like that. Also he started adding all the transportation and preparation TAX plus some other extras and told me that if I sign on the waiting list, since “we are a young couple, he would be very generous to give me a 1% rebate”. I was really mad at that point and we left. I have heard such stories from that dealership, but I had to hear it myself to believe it. No was I will ever buy a car from them ever.
Maybe we could get the new 93 ...:)
