if the judge is a hard-ass (read his demeanor from the trials that come before you, hopefully you're not first), you might want to seriously, and respectfully question the time of the ticket. You might want to bring into question the ability of the policeman to determine your speed, if his judgement is so clouded that he doesn't know am from pm. You might want to bring up that in a criminal trial, such a transgression would be viewed as tantamount to a not guilty verdict. You might also want to mention how incoherent the policeman was after he ran you off the road, and that you only signed the ticket when he threatened to kill you.
Then again, you might want to request a JURY trial! I bet you're entitled you know! Lemmee tell you this, you come up with hard evidence that you've been either hard at work, or have a receipt from some sleazy no-tell motel let's say having an affair with the policeman's wife at the time that the ticket was written, and I bet... you're off the hook!
