Hmm...her explanation sounds odd.
2 thoughts running through my mind on this one (and they are both probably way off base too):
1) can the store be considered private property, and as such, you are technically violating that privacy by being a snoop?
2) if point 1) is true, then how can tourist shots of cityscapes be legal?
This brings back memories of a dear time...during Frosh week at school, we were divided into groups and went on a scavenger hunt. Someone decided that it would be a good idea to get a video camera, and film what we did. Needless to say, after a few cold drinks, we were ripe for some city trouble. Strolled into an adult-oriented store with the video camera, looked around, and promptly got kicked out of that place. The footage of us being chased out of the store by a burly, bearded, middle-aged man was priceless. Sort of like the Blair Witch Project, but with more swearing. Good times!
Cheers,
Mark
