...and I understand that it is an industry problem...its just a load of crap. Makes the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) concept a real joke if you think about it. I know the only reason the dealer caved in my case was because he knew I could take him to court and the evidence was all in my favor. If I had lived in the same state as where I bought the car I would have enjoyed suing them, but to much trouble from far away.
I still think Saab and other manufacturers can do something to have "hand" over the dealers -- why else do the dealers get so damn concerned about the "Completely Satisfied" surveys?? All I was recommending to Saab was to have the same type of process for the CPO program so maybe the dealer would gave a rats behind if I was "Completely Satisfied". It is concerning for Saab because had this been my only dealer and Saab car experience I would run away very fast. Luckly my local dealer is excellent and I don;t have to deal with the morons that sold me the car.
On the flip side I did get the "Made in Trollhotten" book with my CPO purchase -- yee haw!
