We at Taliaferro Imports, Inc. enjoyed 3 ½ years (January 2000 through April 2003) in association with Saab Cars USA as a service gap dealer. As a service Gap dealer we could buy parts direct from Saab USA and also offer warranty service. We were very saddened when we learned that Saab, now managed by GM had chosen to give the new car dealership to the local Cadillac dealer who wanted to acquire Saab, not giving us the opportunity to become a full blown new car dealership, as had always been our goal. This full dealership was within our reach as sales had been at record levels for the past few years. Our customers consist of both local and mail order via the internet from our sites GenuineSaab.com and TaliaferroSaab.com
We will continue to service all Saab customers as we have done for the past 18 years -13 in this same location. Our customers are very loyal and we continue to grow. It is disappointing to think that the “spirit of SAAB” and loyalty to those of us who have been true to the brand has been lost now that GM is making the decisions. We appreciate all of our faithful customers, locally and online who are upset about this change, however our goal now is to move forward, continuing to provide quality service as an independent Saab dealer. We will be expanding our SportsTuning range of performance parts and also non USA Saab parts and accessories.
