What I am saying is that the video set of a though train about the entire Saab marketing thread. Saab looks to be afraid of selling the performance aspect of their cars in Major advertising. Throughout the VFA ( viggen flight academy) and now the Aero Academy, I haven't seen one TV ad that talks about this aspect of the car... it is a major program with nuge resources behind it...
I drive what I consider to be a great driving machines, Saabs... Saab doesn't do anything in their advertising that makes me raise an eyebrow... nothing excites me... nothing I see connects back to why I drive a saab... they seem to overreact in addressing the intellectual side in the advertising and not enough to the viceral.
The 9-3 intro ad had potential, but seeing a car run circles on a track isn't the same as watching a car "perform". Saab has huge abilities, but they seem to be scared of showing the car in that light..
cheers!
