folks spent weeks prepping these cars for SOC and to try to clean up after a road trip would have been impossible. If you enter your car in the Concours (sp?) you want it to be PRISTINE. You can't do that and drive it there too. Also, painting and doing some body and trim work doesn't equal a restoration. I'm talking about a total frame off redo. Thousands of hours. Thousands and thousands of dollars. Naw, I can fully understand it. Also, my daily driver is an 83 900T with 360K miles on it, my project car is an 84 900T with 180K on it, and my wife's is an 00 9-5 SW. I have spent thousands on all of them. But, they ain't show quality. Just drivers. Good discussion though.
