...I had the following reasons for trailering my car:
A) the paint wasn't cured...I still had the masking on the stripes.
2) the restoration wasn't complete...I still had wires hanging.
III) the car wasn't expected to be reliable yet.
FORE!) it's a purpose built rally car that hasn't been driven more than a mile or two as a time in 20 years. (it was 535miles one way)
110) it sucks gas just as much as my Darnango BUT you can't get 105 octane on the Turnpike.
It was a good thing that I *did* trailer the car 'cause we BROKE the carb mount flanges on the intake manifold, borrowing one just to get on the dyno. It's tough driving 535 miles sucking wind.
