Several years ago, I heard something about Alfa Romeo returning to the United States in 2005. Like I said, that was some time ago, and automobile manufacturers tend to change their minds on that type of thing. Regardless, if the rumor is valid and holds any truth, it would be wise to wait a few years before you take the plunge with Alfa. As another post lends, Alfa Romeo is a very nice little car with high maintenance costs attached. With dealers (maybe) in the area sometime around 2005, it will be a bit more economical to seek out mechanics, parts, etc. Granted that dealers are normally a bit more expensive, the presence of new Alfas on the streets may prompt some reputable independents to expand their expertise. Just a thought... Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
