For a PentiumPro motherboard you don't have too many options. Intel sold an upgrade CPU for awhile (really a repackaged Xeon) that ran at 333 Mhz, but it is no longer available. I'm not aware that any other processors on the market now are pin-compatible or would even work with the PentiumPro chipset. It might be best to just try it the way it is - the PentiumPro's cache ran at CPU speed, unlike the Pentium II that followed and was often perceptively slower (Intel fixed that with the Pentium III). If you spend any money on it, maybe add some more memory if the price is right. Hope this helps. David
