You are right about the dearth of sticks. I would suggest that you to a dealer who has a 5-speed car, preferably one that has been sitting on that dealer's lot for 9 or 10 months. (Look in the right-hand column of that inventory printout). Tell that dealer you will pay $1000 below invoice net of junk fees, you will pay no more than $1000 in junk fees (delivery, car prep, co-op advertising, document prep, undercoating, etc, etc), you want the $4500 lease incentive applied, you want the promotional lease rate (practically zero), and you want the $500 owner loyalty. That should get you the car you want at under $280/month for 36 months with a residual of 12-13K. The dealer will still be making a profit with his holdback and annual volume incentive, and he's getting rid of a car that is an inventory problem for him.
Look at the lease examples on the saabusa website and understand that they include the lease incentive and the promotional lease rate, but are based upon a selling price $2000 or so above what you want to pay.
Good luck. It's no fun to do this stuff but you can do it if you want a 5-speed car that was imported last summer.
