For the amount of money you are willing to spend on a used DISCO I'd recommend you stay v e r y far away!. Buy an odler Forerunner or late nineties Trooper for that kind of money.
My sister has a 03 Disco top of the line and she has been towed 2x under 10K miles. My good friends wife bought a used 02 Disco with 55K miles and has had zero issues in 10K miles. He paid $27K and my sister paid $39K.
I suspect that what you can get for $7K will give you nothng but trouble 6 months after owning it and then will start costing you arms,legs, and everything else.
