The zVue is a new one I'm enjoying for photo viewing, MP3 listening, AND MP4 color video. It's a $150 handheld device and I opted to buy a $90 1GB postage stampe sized memory card (wafer thin). It easily stores 6-7 full length movies. I mounted it to my bedside book stand (that's a whole other great product ) and it's killing my reading... I watch parts of movies before going to sleep instead of reading... I'm sure I'll get back to reading soon...
I love the Hiptop (TMobile Sidekick) wireless device for Internet on the go. I get POP3 email client, nice web browser (works great on Saabnet.com), opens Word and Excel docs although I've never needed to, has secure SSH telnet so I can login in to the servers I manage securely, AOL Instant Messenger (SAABNET) and whole host of other fantastic applications available (camera, games, conversion tool (currency, metric, baking, energy, time, etc) - full qwerty keyboard and swivel color screen. After all the Amazon rebates, it cost me all of $20 and $30/month for unlimited Internet usage.. and it's a cell phone too, if that matters.
"I Love Technology... but not as much as I love you, but I still Love Technology." (Napoleon Dynamite - do not waste your money on that movie).
