The iPaq was extremely simple to load onto my Windows XP machine, as contrasting the Palm which was a huge pain (poor help, missing drivers, inconsistent sync'ing). I had a bunch of quality problems with the Palm as well, including multiple broken/inoperative screens and OS problems necessitating system reloads. I also found the Palm not as friendly with Word, Excel, etc also. I do like the Palm for its more intuitive use of the 5-way navigation button, though, as the iPaq requires more stylus use to operate. I don't have an obsessive dislike for all thinks Microsoft, which frees my perspective a bit (or clouds, depending on your POV).
