drive a while to get to a place to buy tires. Check which places will have the tires you want first. Coming south from Canada-- Bethlehem, Littleton, or Lincoln (off I-=93) would be your best bets in NH. Pittsburg (on Rte 3) is a possibility, but it's a tiny town. Lancaster or Groveton might be good bets (on Rte 3).
Might be easier to just go to Plattsburgh, NY or Burlington, VT as you might be more likely to get what you want without having to go too far, although they do have a sales tax.
Have a good road trip! I'm headed to Canda next week.
