My problem with the 9-7 is that it just puts more gas-guzzling SUVs on the road while dumping money into the GM coffers.
Does it look like a Saab? Kinda. Is it the safest, most fuel efficient, best handling SUV on the market? Not by a long shot!
Just my 2 cents - I'm sure a lot of GM loyalists will disagree with me, but if had GM wanted to reap the knowledge that Saab has accumulated regarding safety, utility, performance from a small engine, and ergonomics, the had the opportunity and blew it, IMHO.
