Actually, I am happy that it is based on a Chevy design because it is a proven design. While I am no serious off-roader, I sure wouldn't want to take a "cute-ute" out into the desert. I would happily take the 9-7x across the Black Rock or down to Whitmore Wash because of its Chevy heritage. Remember, the most common second car for Saab owners is a Jeep Cherokee. The off-road competitor for Jeep is the Trailblazer, not some Cute-ute car that has been lifted. Let the 9-6x compete against the cute-utes.
