at my work. I didn't see it at the time, a coworker pointed out the ding to me. Not too bad, the hood has about a 3" section pushed in an 1", but it looks like garbage. Anyways, I was pissed becuase I didn't know who did it. I thought it might've been the truck from the senior superintendant on the job site, because I was parked behind him yesterday.
ANyways, this morning I took the train to work, but I measured the height of the ding so I could do some research. Got to work , and looked at the Super's truck, and sure enough, on the corner of the rear chrome bumper is a nice streak. Moreover, the entire bumper is dirty on his car except for that same spot where it is clean.
I'm almost 90% certain it was him or someone who used his truck. I approached him and he told me "should've taken the train". I went to my boss and he said "what do you want me to do about it?".
I even pulled off some fibers from his bumper and stuck them in between two pieces of tape, as well as took pictures.
What kind of recourse do I have? Remember, this guy and my boss are good friends, they would probably be pissed if I called the police or filed small claims. My other coworker just said you could probably get your car fixed but then you won't have a job.
Extortion sucks. This company is like the mafia.
