Don't rush it...I thought when I was 24 that I was "old" and needed to be married. so I got married for 18 years. I got remarried after 9 years of batching it, because, marriage is great. You just have to pick the right one. Or in my case, she picked me.
You ought to have a shared vision of the future. Is your spouse someone you would want to push around in a Wheelchair 50 years from now??
most of the people who were born in the 1930's era tend to stay together, while the "younger" generation doesn't. (Lack of committment?) Want to bail when the going gets tough? How selfish are you? Willing to work together to problem solve, or will it me "my way or the highway?"
Just a few ideas to think about... If you find the right one it is great.. if you don't... it's "cheaper-to-keep-her"...
