We usually buy whatever is on sale. End up with Arm & Hammer most of the time. But, if I have some grease or whatever on my clothes, or just pretty grimed up in general...I'll put a 1/2 cup of Simple Green concentrate in the wash. Works great! Even on my whites I'll use it most of the time, and bleach every once in a while. We use Simple Green for most everything as we like the fact that it lasts forever, cleans really well, and is non-toxic. Cuts right through grease too. We buy it by the gallon concentrate which is like $11-$12 and lasts a long time.
