I found myself wondering the exact same thing just the other day. At least when someone tailgates on the highway, they may have a reason for doing so. At a light, they aren't going to get anywhere any faster and it's impossible for them to intimidate anyone into moving out of their way. Like you, I just don't get it.

The absolute biggest problem is when you're driving a manual tranny car and you need some room in case you happen to roll back a little bit at take-off. Just out of curiosity, who would be at fault if you happened to roll back into someone at a light? It's very clear that drivers no longer have brains and they are unable to use common sense. When I'm driving behind a car that is *probably* equipped with a manual tranny, I use extra caution in my stopping distance behind them. It's a courtesy to them and a safety precaution for me.

Just like everyone has been discussing the past few days, use your brain when driving. I don't expect everyone to enjoy it as much as I do, but there are certain lines that do not need to be crossed (pun partially intended). The world of driving is not perfect and it never will be, so I will close my rant for now. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
