People who always lease commit to payments forever. I can understand how they justify this, and how never "paying" for maintenance is nice, but I think it is smarter to own the car and deal with later maintenance issues as they come up. I've never run a real number comparison, but it seems less expensive to own and maintain a car than to rent one forever.
Style is another issue! I could care less about style, or at least paying for it. But most people care much more, so I can see why it's important.
