The GM Employee Price is printed right on the invoice. When a a car is purchased under the GM Employee Price the purhchaser must sign and initial a form that states that have inspected the invoice, received the GMS price, AND any and all applicable rebates or incentives. GM audits GM Employee deals each year to make sure the dealer conforms to the program or that dealer loses the priviledge of selling to GM Employees. There's no negotiating involved.

Trade in values may still be negotiated, so there may be some wisdom to having your potential trade in evaluated before you play your GM Employee price card as traditionally dealers may try and low ball or undervalue the trade to try and recover some lost profit on GM employee deals.

Occasionally there are even extra incentives only applicable for GM Employees and incentives like Lease Loyalty, Auto Show in Motion certificates, or the obscure and seldom qualified for Oldsmobile Owner Loyalty almost always work with GM Employee pricing.
