I just received a suspicious query about a car I have for sale. I searched the potential buyer's e-mail root name (myakemotors)expecting to get a dealership in Chicago (based on the contact number area code) and it came up on your scammer's e-mail list with one small difference, the name on your list is "myakemotors'at'yahoo", the e-mail from my potential buyer is "myakemotors2005'at'yahoo", looks like the scammers are trying to change it up a little.

I also had a scam earlier this year from "Abraham Cruz" (I don't remember his e-mail, and I didn't see it on your list) with an e-mail address out of Canada, but I unfortunately did not save my e-mail correspondance. Too bad, because I think you would have enjoyed it! I played along until I got the check ( a Wells Fargo check sent from Italy!), after I received the check ($12000 for a $5500 motorcycle) I informed him that I confirmed it to be a counterfeit as suspected and that I was part of an ongoing Federal Investigation and thanked him for the wealth of information he provided our agency and that we would be extraditing him and inviting him to stay in one of our finer Federal Correctional Facilities in the near future for International mail fraud and embezzlement. Funny, I never heard back from him!
