1. What do you think is the most important electronic gadget or device for a college student to have?
Laptop with connection to network.
2. What is your favorite or most essential gadget or electronic device?
Samsung Yepp postage stamp sized 1G MP3 player. Apple ipods are garbage I went through two and then got the Samsung; never looked back! Drag and drop Mp3 capability - right from windows explorer. No compression codecs like the Sony players it doubles as a 1G hard drive that plugs right into USB slot. Surround sound and other eq modes and it's 1/6th the size of an Ipod.
3. What is the most extravagant or extreme gadget or electronic device that you have seen in a dorm room?
I commuted to school (NYC) but I think a stack of video game systems and a box full of games is excessive. So much money wasted for those stupid games at 60$ a pop....
4. What gadget or electronic device do you most want?
A motorola cellphone/PDA -steel or aluminum - with fully functional Bluetooth suite -not crippled by the greedy folks at Verizon- that runs Windows pocket PC and Outlook so I can synch work emails while on train. Slide out keyboard and WiFi are a must.
5. Do you have a unique electronic gadget? What is it?
Just bought a Valentine V1.8 POP radar detector, so far not very useful, but after 6+ years of 90mph left lane sessions I figured I should frontload and purchase some insurance.
