Every Toro we ever tried completely fell apart on us.... JUNK!!!
Presently we have a lawnboy which is a very well built mower. It doesn't get used much (mostly use our gravely z260) but still starts on the 1st or 2nd pull every time. My only complaint is I wish it was a 4 stroke!
You definantly get what you pay for with a mower & if it's a place you plan on staying at for a while spend the $$$ & get a good one!!!
I really have no clue if it's worth $400 for a used lawnmower. Before you get it I would look at everything else in that price, you can get a really nice new unit for $400! I would also just use mulching blades & not bag the yard
