My 2 cents...depending on your credit rating and relationship with your bank why don't to try a secure a line of credit from the bank given the low interest rates nowadays. We have a pretty hefty LOC at bank prime rate. That beats any credit card especially if you plan to maintain a balance. The best I have seen is generally 1 to 2% of your purchases which is not a good deal if you have to pay 16 to 18% interest on it. As well, the interest is on the whole balance if you don't pay off in full i.e. if your balance is $10K and you paid off $8K, you pay interest on $10 and not $2K - at least that has been my experience. With a LOC, you pay interest only on what you use and interest is calculated monthly based on your outstanding balance.
Good luck!
Simon
