If you think that's bad, you should try driving around Detroit! I have been living in the Detroit area for about two years now, and I still don't understand the concept of what is locally called the "Michigan Left Turn". Here's how it goes: on most Detroit streets, you cannot make a left turn at an intersection. You either need to make a right turn followed by a u-turn; or go through the intersection, make a u-turn, and then a right turn!
I wish someone would please explain the logic of this to me!
