I thought the ad was pretty cool, and liked seeing the 'vert racing around, but I just don't get the whole "being connected to a company that makes jets is a good thing" idea. I don't really see what being an airplane maker has to do with making a good car. I've heard people say that the jets have intuitive controls or are comfy to sit in, but you can say those things about a lot of products. My stove in my kitchen has really intuitive controls, if you want it to get hotter, you turn the dial more towards "High", if you want to stop it, you turn it to "off". But that doesn't mean I want a Kenmore automobile. Likewise, the fan in my window has never failed. Does that mean the fan maker would make reliable engines? And my bed is really comfy, but I don't want a car designed by a furniture maker... Can anyone explain it so that it seems like a real benefit to me?
