From that article, ". . . State Farm estimates that 1.5 million vehicles collide with deer every year"
I know this is a big country, lots of people, cars , and deer, but 1.5 million per year?
Averaged accross 50 states that would be 30,000 per state per year, or 82 every day in every state. Also equals 4,109 every day for the 50 states.
Again, it's a big country, but that number seems incredible to me.
