I just got a Verizon LG 8100 two weeks ago. The phone is a tad big large due to the stereo speakers but this is a very popular phone and I really like it so far. It's easy to use and I've been using a bluetooth headset with it regularly. Don't get the Jabro headset they'll try to sell you, though. The audio quality is bad. I just replaced mine with the Motorola that has the flip out headset boom - it was $100 but worth it.
The LG 8100 has a "normal" ring that is not annyoning (a requirement for me) and as a phone the quality is good. It is 100% digital. I was coming out of an LG VX4400 which was a tri mode phone but the Verizon rep told me the tri mode phones are pretty much gone these days. I have used the multimedia capabilities of the phone to look at radar and get weather forecasts and it works well. I have also used the web browser extensively while traveling in order to read my email, which was one of the other requirements I had for a new phone. I got mine for $99 with a $50 mail-in rebate.
