it is not yet available in Verizon stores even though other places do carry this and have had the previous version for a while. Qualcomm does not make tri-mode, EV-DO chipsets so you can’t have V-cast and tri-mode. I want tri-mode and bluetooth so I am considering this phone. I could care less about v-cast, camera, etc. I understand that this Nokia phone has fully enabled bluetooth which matters to some. Phonescoop.com has reasonable phone info in the reviews and BBs.
If you travel outside of major metro areas you need good RF and analog. Any phone you get now will be nearing obsolescence or broken by the time the networks get to digital only. When they do the phone will still work. Verizon makes a ton on v-cast so that is their priority over tri-mode. Most Verizon customers will never go anywhere that there is not digital coverage.
