If so, you will enjoy it a lot. We have an 82 3/4 ton truck with one of those engines in it. It runs great! A piece of advice though, change the oil and all of the filters every 3000 miles. Especially the fuel filters, water in the injector pump will ruin it right now. Your fuel tank should have a petcock on it to drain water out of, use it regularly to help in this area.
You will also find that a 15 mm wrench and socket are a must on that engine to make repairs.
Good luck and have fun with it.
