i am looking at moving up to the hd programming as i now have a sony lcd tv.
i have comcast cable and in my opinion they are taking advantage of the monopoly they have in the quincy/boston area so i am looking at dish network and direct tv.
based on what i can get from each provider, it appears direct tv is more for the money. meaning, if i want the HD package from dish network, i will be paying around $50/month and wil get around 70 channels? while direct tv's hd package is around the same amount, but comes with 150+ channels, including the local networks (dish charges extra for this).
all the research i have done points me to direct tv, but i just want to know if there are any other issues out there i have not considered.
thoughts?
thanks.
