Don't have a GPS and was thinking of renting one. But in this modern age, using Google Local on the cell phone GUI browser plus having wireless internet everywhere, I'm set (as long as I'm on the highways). Sounds like the NM/OK route is fastest.
Good point about the survival/fluids materials, thanks Mark.
Thoughts on tire rotation? The stock ones are still doing fine (thank you SoCal conditions) but would be willing to rotate if there's a definite benefit. <commence flame-war>
