The only animals large enough to be dangerous to hit are either in areas where you know better than to drive that fast and/or has huge fences keeping them out. Animals smaller than moose, horses etc are not dangerous to hit if you keep calm. But that goes for standard highway speeds too. You're liable to get a lot more damage and maybe even injuries if you desperately try to avoid hitting a deer for example. If you can't avoid with slight steering corrections then keep going straight and if you hit, you'll just have some repairable damage of the front. Otherwise you risk going into the ditch etc.
