In Iowa we have had 10% ethanol for years. Any SAAB with with a 16 Valve engine will run just fine on it. In fact it will actually have better boost than with premium. In my 91 900 I have run only ethanol in it for over a year with no problems(I even ran a couple of tanks of E-85 in it with no noticable differance) When we first had ethanol fuels here we all heard the same horor stories. as far as ethanol rusting parts the fuel that is added to it is enough lubrication to keep things from rusting. If one was to run it straight with no gas in it yes then it would rust. Just put a pint of Marvel mystery oil it each tank and that problem is solved. It doesn't take much lube. I used to race dirt track cars and we ran both methanol and ethanol straight, it's a very good fuel in the straight form. I think with turbo engines if one could get enough fuel into the motor I think we could see some outragous boost pressures being run. Just my two cents.
