...against all "enthusiast" makes. None of them fair very well. The "appliance" makes bring home the bacon. My opinion is that "appliance" owners expect a little less from their cars. We "car nuts" are ready to jump the dealer over every little disappoinment. Most of the other kind, I know, never really learn what the car can do, let alone expect it to perform flawlssly.
As a result you find the real cars from europe AND japan below the rest. Personally, I think Saab needs a major improvement in reliability. But I don't think it really belongs at the end of the list. Saab owners may expect more from less than any other marque....you (previously me too) are a tough crowd. We expect a luxury car that hauls like a truck and handles like a porsche, while getting 30mpg....at a price just above the everyday...maybe we're part of the problem???
