I would just go with 2 sets, maybe even 1 depending on the car.
Here in Southern Ontario, my C900 had Nokian WR's all year round. They were really good in the wet, pretty good in the dry, pretty good in the snow.
My 9-2x I have summer tires on one set of rims & Nokian RSi's on seperate rims for the winter. But I think I'll move back to WR's when they're worn out (if I still have the car then). We don't get enough snow to warrant the RSi's and the WR's I can use into warmer weather, unlike the RSi's
