The reason I did not say the year and model is because I have at least three cars in my fleet which need service, That's is why I bought the vacuum pump to begin with. Since they all use r134a, it is general enough. At least I would think so.
I have a 93 Volvo 940 which I just replaced a leaking hose. Also bought a new dryer. The second car is a 95 525i not holding charge. My guess is it will not hold vacuum either. So I have to get to the bottom of it when I do it. I also bought a dryer for it. The third is my 95 9kcse, also no holding charge. I kind of know where it leaks because an oily spot is present on the AC compressor. It has been blowing cold air until a few months ago. I don't have a dryer for it yet.
My 94 9k cde and my 94 9k cs are both blowing cold air. The 95 540 is still a project I am converting to 6 speed. My hope is the AC is good. But if itisn't, I am ready or hope to be ready by the time the project finishes.
Now you know how many cars I have and why I am under at least one of them almost every weekend.
