I experienced similar results when I was younger (in my 20's): large doses of vit C gave me heartburn-like symptoms. I tried restarting the doses several times but always ended up with major stomach problems. It usually took several days for things to return back to normal for me.
You need to get a balanced mix of nutrients in your system, not just a bunch of mega-doses that you've thrown together from GNC. Find something that's been formulated (& proven, if possible) to work with all of its own components. You'll be much happier AND healthier in the long run.
