Aiming lights

I think most of the people who put on aftermarket lights don't bother to do much in the way of aiming.
The typical technique of aiming against a garage door works OK, but it has to be fine-tuned on a straight, dark road. Driving lights will always bother an oncoming driver, but properly aimed fogs will not. The operative word here is
"properly."
