I HAD the best case senario...a 900 convert AND a 9000! I've had many of both. They are entirely different autombiles..the 900 is tighter and seems "quicker", the 9000 is roooomy and very comfotable. It actually is way faster and out-handles a 900...but it doesn't always "feel" that way.
I suspect a 97 9000 would be nearly identical overall to your 94, with maybe a few more bugs "sorted-out".
Most of us old time Saab folk love 'em both...but they are getting old. I had to part with mine as I no longer can afford the time to enjoy keeping them up. I encouage you to take on a "new friend" and keep it going. My "fancy" new car attracts a lot of attention, but nothing like my old red convert, and 9000T! I still miss driving them almost everyday.
