yes the road wasn't pretty but people just don't think when they drive, not even on intinct, not to mention yapping on cellphones etc... I-78, I-80, I-287 many accidents out there.

White stuff falling from sky on a cold day on ground = snow = slippery

Low temperature (in the teens) = snow and ice don't melt that fast

Driving fast and stopping short = sliding to god knows where

All wheel drive = 4 wheel arrogance = no wheel drive on ice

Slowing to look at other people's accident = tying up more traffic

Worn tires on snow/ice = balk tires on water

Iced up windshield wipers = can't see out front = driving blind
